I’m Natalie, the founder, creative, and detail obsessed mind behind 1016 Events.

I’ve spent years bringing celebrations to life, from intimate gatherings and milestone moments to large scale events. Along the way, I realized that what I love most isn’t just how an event looks, it’s how it feels, and how every detail comes together to create that feeling.

I’ve always been drawn to thoughtful design, beautiful spaces, and the small details that make something feel personal. 1016 is where all of that comes together: built on intention, personality, and celebrations that feel anything but ordinary.

The best part is watching an idea become something people can see, feel, and remember long after the night ends.

Through creative direction, collaboration, and a refined yet playful approach to design, we create celebrations that feel personal and are remembered forever.

We aspire for 1016 to become a recognized name in event planning and styling, known for transforming ideas into memorable experiences. As the studio grows, our vision is to expand while remaining rooted in what matters most: creating celebrations that are thoughtfully designed and entirely personal to the people behind them.

For as long as I can remember, my birthday has always been something I loved celebrating. Not just because of the occasion itself, but because it gave me a reason to decorate, host, bring people together, and make the moment feel special.

Looking back, it feels fitting that a date tied to so many of my own favourite celebrations would become the name behind a business built around creating meaningful ones for others.

1016 represents something personal, but it also marks the start of something meaning — a reminder that the best moments often start with a reason to gather, celebrate, and create something worth remembering.
